Sigh...well, I *did* say it was beta software.
Unfortunately, while working on the next round of changes I just discovered a parity corruption bug in version 0.29. The bug is bad enough that it is probably affecting most users of 0.29 now. I believe it will affect you if you've run Updates that processed new or deleted files that are smaller than the Max Temp RAM setting.
I'm working on getting a new version out with a fix as soon as I can. It might be a day or two due to the Christmas holidays. In the meantime, you can run a "Verify" pass to see if you are affected. If you've encountered the bug, Verify will report errors. If it does, you can delete your parity manually (close the app, go to your parity drive and delete files*.dat and parity*.dat), then restart disParity and do a single "Update" to rebuild the backup. Your backup should now be good, but don't do any further updates until I get a new release out.
